Welcome to Glenwood Elementary School!

 Glenwood Elementary School is located in the south central section of Thousand Oaks in the Conejo Valley. The school has a population of almost 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade.  Our staff has 17 regular classroom teachers, as well as a tremendous support staff to assist students in a variety of ways. The entire staff is committed to continuous staff development using a collaborative model. The school environment promotes problem solving, assessing our resources and the use of technology as tools for our success. There is a strong sense of community which recognizes the character themes and our strong Glenwood Gator pride.

Our home-school partnership stresses working together to achieve our vision and goals. Glenwood has strong community support through the active involvement of the Parent-Teacher Association, the School Site Council, and our English Learner Advisory Committee. Our school community is rich with cultural and linguistic diversity, and our parents are actively supportive of the students, staff and the instructional program.

Caring and highly trained staff ensure that each Glenwood student grows academically in an appropriate and supportive environment. Staff welcomes the community participation in the school as we work together to achieve individual student success.
