Welcome to Glenwood's Music Programs!

One of the changes that Glenwood has implemented over the past couple of years is an expansion of our Music Education program.  Our music coordinator, Mrs. Jennifer Miner, has been a fabulous  addition to our staff.  She meets with all classes every week for a 30-minute music time.  During music, Mrs. Miner addresses the state performing arts standards, weaving into her lessons song, movement, and rhythm.  Students are actively engaged throughout their time with her!

In addition, the general education classes work with Mrs. Miner on performance pieces for our annual PTA Pancake Breakfast, Multicultural Night, and various student plays/musicals.  She will also be working with our fifth grade students to plan for a music filled culmination at the end of the year!

In addition to our music program during the day, we have two after school music enrichment programs.  Our chorus program is available to students in grades 1-5, and our band program is available to 4th and 5th graders.  More information about these programs can be found by clicking the links on the sides.
