 Activities & Programs

We are very fortunate to have an assortment of programs and activities available to our students.  Each week, students rotate through library, music, physical education (p.e.), and the computer lab, all taught by specialists.

Our student council is a great way for students to get involved at Glenwood!  Elections take place at the start of the year for our upper grade leaders, and students in grades 3-5 can also be class representatives.

In addition, we have several optional activities that students can participate in.  We offer an after school chorus for grades 1-5, and an after school band program for grades 4 & 5.  Both of these are run through the Arts Council, and have a small fee associated with it.

We also run after school enrichment opportunities for students, provided by private vendors for a fee.  Each trimester, we run different activities, and the success of the program will depend on enrollment.  In the past, we've had art, sports, drama, and chess programs.

Is your child frustrated?

We have many options to work with your child if they're experiencing frustration with work that is too difficult or too easy.

Please work closely with your child's teacher to voice your concerns.  We're all in this together!

If your child qualifies, we offer the following programs at Glenwood:

  • Before/After school Intervention
