About Mrs. Miller
My name is Muriel Miller and I am happy to be teaching second grade students this year. This is my 21st year at Glenwood and I am very grateful to be a part of the "Gator" family.  I have taught grades Kindergarten through 4th grade while I have been at Glenwood.  I received my teaching credential and Master's Degree in Diagnosing and Remediating Reading Difficulties from California State University, Northridge. Some of the special programs that we are particpating in this year include writing pen pal letters to students in Oregon, working with our Westlake High School study buddies, performing a patriotic musical revue with our 5th grade study buddies, hosting 2 student teachers from Pepperdine University, and reading to our Labrador friend every week.  We also learn about and practice John Wooden's Pyramid of Success which helps us focus on the building blocks of success, which means doing the very best you can do.
