About Mrs. Gomez-Benito

My name is Mrs. Gomez-Benito and I am presently a third grade teacher at Glenwood Elementary School.  I have been a teacher at Glenwood for eight years, and have taught in grades K-2.  I have been teaching for 19 years and have also taught in grades 5-9.

I am a graduate of The University of Utah and feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to study abroad my sophomore year in Segovia, Spain where I lived with a Spanish host family while attending the local university.  After graduating, I returned to Spain again to teach English for a year.  I met my husband in Spain, and we have been married for about 21 years and have a wonderful son.  We continue to return to Spain to visit family and friends.

I have a Master's Degree from Grand Canyon University and enjoy teaching and  working with students.  In my spare time I like to travel and spend time with my family.
