Hi!  My name is Mrs. Hanson and I have been teaching at Glenwood for 12 years.  Most of that time was spent teaching kindergarten with Mrs. Thomas.   I love Glenwood.  I enjoy the children and families here and I think Thousand Oaks is a great place to live.   I moved here 22 years ago from Florida where I taught for 13 years.  I am originally from Illinois where my mother still lives along with many relatives.

Kindergarten:  Homework is sent home on Mondays or the first day of the week.  Please return homework packets on Fridays.

First Grade:  Homework is sent home daily.  Reading is required every night for 20 minutes.  Spelling practice is required Monday-Thursdays every week.  Usually we have math homework on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  If your child is absent the homework will be sent home the next day and should be returned as soon as possible.
